Christmas Markets in Cologne

Just recently I had the chance to visit the city of Cologne for a few days. After a first really, really, really short visit of half a day some years ago, I finally had time to explore. Lucky me, it was in December, pretty Christmas Market season. I love when all the Christmas decorations is on, all the pretty lights. In Cologne there is one market after the other, a bit like a perl necklace the rank through the old town which is an eye catcher by itself. The biggest market is just on the place in front of the world famous cathedral, another one in front of the chocolate museum. Who would have thought that such a great thing as a chocolate museum exists.

  1. Cologne had the best Christmas markets I saw this year, beating those even in Berlin!
