Bordeaux, France

Next stop – again very brief for only about 24 hours – was Bordeaux. Oh wow, a lot bigger than I expected. And navigating with the car is thanks to a one-way-chaos not that easy. But I managed, I found the place I booked for the night and I promised myself to not move the car until I leave 😉

Bordeaux has a beautiful old town. It’s listed as an UNESCO World Heritage site since 2007. When it comes to counts of historical buildings it’s second in France, just behind Paris. I did take the set “world-heritage-walk” which brings you past most of the beautiful old buildings and churches as well as along the promenade.
