Cebu Island, The Philippines

My next stop: Cebu, The Philippines.

Completely unplanned, yet a very nice place to go to. Nevertheless, I’ve seen by far not enough of The Philippines. I will be back one day for sure.

I flew in for a short work gig and on the weekend my colleagues took me on some adventures.

First, on Saturday, they took me to the south of Cebu Island and we did snorkel with whale sharks first. Amazing animals. So big yet so harmless. In absence of a waterproof camera I’m missing photos of this adventure.

Next we went to climb some waterfalls – that was so much fun … and yep, it was as steep as it looks on those pictures.

Last but not least we stopped by a place where you can have a look at the birds’ nests they use to cook their well-known birds-nest-soup. yep, they use them in a soup.

That was an action packed Saturday.
